Watches: Tudor S&G Black Bay

June 20, 2017

Do you remember those days when you walked into school, aged between 7-10, and to your horror you were the only one without that new deck of Pokemon cards or that laser pointer everyone 'got' teachers with! It was almost as if you had missed the memo. Well thats kinda how I feel when I go to watch events in London these days. It's a real credit to Tudor, as the most relevant brand in the world at the momment that almost everyone who works in the watch world owns and independantly chooses to wear one watch over any other - you guessed it - the Black Bay (I even know one Editor who owns - at last count - four!). And this, the Heritage Black Bay S&G is a new addition to the Black Bay family, seamlessly combining steel and gold with a date function for the first time. The Black Bay S&G is powered by an in-house Tudor manufacture calibre.  Finished in matt satin to give it a robust tool watch look, the Black Bay S&G is available on a bi-colour stepped riveted bracelet (£3,400) or on a distressed brown leather strap (£2,580). Both options come with a complimentary golden brown fabric strap. A glorious tool watch for any occasion available in stores this month - and quite possibly the best value watch you'll find anywhere from anyone - period.
