I was recently talking with a friend. We were wondering what we had to do to achieve polymath status. You know, that guy whose expertise spans a significant number of subject areas, feeling comfortable in any environment, discussing any subject.
We came to the conclusion. You can give yourself the best chance of winning but implementing these three platforms in your life. Try to watch one Ted talk a day. Ensure you are always enrolled on a course via Coursera and subscribe to at least 5 podcasts on a range of subjects. And do it now:
Ted.com : From technology to science. There's a talk for that.
Coursera.org : From Oxford to Yale. There's an online course for that.
Podacasts : From start-up to history. There's a podcast for that.
